Hazrat Umer RA was one of the greatest Sahabi of ProphetMuhammad SAW and was the second Caliph of Muslims. He was one of the most powerful and influential Muslim caliphs in history. Hazrat Umer RA was born in Makkah in 580 A.D and belongs to Adi tribe of Qureysh.
He was famous for his bravery, pious and just nature and because of these personal attributes he was named as Farooq, one who distinguishes between right and wrong. During his reign caliphate expanded at an unprecedented rate, ruling the Sasanian Empire and more than two-thirds of the Byzantine Empire.
